We’re so proud that Galileo’s newest narrative short film, Brooklyn Baby, has won several awards in the Film Festival circuit!

Brooklyn Baby has now won 4 awards, and hopefully more to come! It’s always exciting when we expand our reach from Boston and Saratoga Springs, to festivals around the country, and around the world. Here are the awards the film has won to date:
1) Independent Shorts Award (Los Angeles)
2) Accolades Global Competition
3) European Cinematography Award
4) DUMBO Film Festival New York
We filmed Brooklyn Baby over the course of 3 days in mid 2019 using Galileo’s RED Gemini camera. Our Boston video production team shot the entire film in the Albany and Saratoga Springs areas. To emulate the architecture of Brooklyn, NY, we shot at location around the beautiful brownstone townhouses of Washington Park in Troy, NY. Original music for the film was also composed in the Saratoga Springs area by Chris Carey, with music consulting by Joel Moss.
It’s always an honor to get recognized for our creative work, and we’re excited for what’s to come for Brooklyn Baby!
