MY FAVORITE STONE (FILM) SOUNDTRACK

“Wonderfully elegant, strikingly powerful…a story told through music.”

As the premiere of My Favorite Stone at Hoboken International Film Festival approaches, Galileo Media Arts Albany video production studio is excited to make the trip down to the HIFF festival. This riveting short film uses very few words over the course of the 9 minute story allowing a lot of space for music and sound design to play a major role.

The two superstars behind the music soundtrack were composer Chuck Lamb and Grammy Award winning producer Joel Moss. Chuck Lamb, as a pianist and composer, has been with the Brubeck Brothers Quartet for 14 years and has performed with the Quartet and/or his own groups at numerous renowned venues around the world. Joel Moss is an American record producer, sound engineer and mixer who has won seven Grammy Awards most notably with Ray Charles for his album You Don’t Know Me.

The score for this film was recorded and produced here at Galileo Media Arts Albany video production studio.

Excerpt from Directors Statement:

“…Everyone involved in this project volunteered their time and talents to make this film with the hope to help in even a small way. From the actors, crew, cinematographer right to the world renowned composer, musicians and music producer; I feel fortunate to be involved in this film and be surrounded with such a great energy toward this cause. Once we accept that heroin and opioid addiction could strip any one of us of our lives and families, we can move forward to combatting its power.” – John Wager
