There are plenty of stock animations easily accessible on the internet nowadays and while these may be a fast solution, at Galileo we don’t like to take the easy way out.
Not all video production crews are trained in motion graphics, but at both our Boston and Saratoga Springs / Albany video production locations, Galileo Media Arts has team members trained to animate custom motion graphics for each video production we create.
In creating a piece for St. Lawrence University, Alex Kenyon had to create a motion graphic introduction that would go at the beginning of a series of videos that Galileo was producing, each with a different topic.
Alex animated several different ideas, finally choosing with our client the idea of the introduction looking like a web interface. The animation he created shows a display of the series of videos and a cursor click on the subject of the video the viewer is currently watching. Because Alex made this animation from scratch, he was able to customize it uniquely to our client, using exactly the right font for the project, using the university’s branding colors and laying out the graphic so it went well with the background image.
In this way, Galileo Media Arts is able to give our clients a one of a kind video complete with unique motion graphics.
