It has certainly been a busy summer here at Galileo, due in a no small part to the continuously growing momentum behind Comedy Warriors! Having been made an official selection for the Middleburg Film Festival in Virginia (October 25th – 27th), we are delighted to report that we have also been officially selected for exhibition at this year’s Flickers: Rhode Island International Film Festival in Providence, RI.
The RIIFF runs from August 6th – 11th, and is a leading juried competition showcase for international independent filmmakers and their work. Comedy Warriors will be screening on Thursday, August 8th at the Veterans Memorial Auditorium, which is wonderfully fitting given the very premise of the film. In addition, Boston Bombings survivor Heather Abbott will be speaking at the same venue.
We are very excited to be participating in yet another top film festival, and are very much looking forward to those coming in the fall!
