Towards the end of last year, we were approached by the Saratoga County Veterans Peer to Peer Mentoring Program who were looking to create some branding material to help promote and publicize their organization. We couldn’t have been more thrilled to get on board.
Diving straight into production in the New Year, we shot three days of interviews with the program’s mentors, mentees and coordinating staff. Despite the less-than-optimal weather conditions that January had to offer, we also filmed B-roll of the aptly nick-named ‘battle buddies’ engaging together at home and in public. Having worked extensively with Veterans in the past with the Wounded Warrior Project and our docu-feature Comedy Warriors, we never cease to be amazed and inspired by the resilience and resolve that these men and women possess, and it was both a delight and an honor to be involved in this project.
