We are strong believers that the editing and post- production makes or breaks your final product. Whether it is from a live action shoot, stock footage or animation, it all comes down to pulling the story together in the editing and post-production phase. Galileo rarely takes on a job that is just a live action shoot where we don’t have control over the post-production. We have found that a lot of our competitors don’t spend the time and attention to detail we do in post-production. That extra effort really pays off in the end and we have proven it over and over again in both our work and accolades. From both our Boston and Albany/ Saratoga Springs locations our post-production for all your video production needs include: editing, animation, motion graphics, color correction, sound design, voice over (we have our own world class recording studio), music licensing and original music. We have 4 editing/ animation suites to accommodate all your post-production needs.
ViDEO EDITING
Editing can make or break any project whether tiny or large. The editor is tasked with choosing the right takes and timing that will make the audience compelled to watch.
ANIMATION
Animation, both in style and usage, has changed a lot in the past few years. Our focus in the world of animation has really influenced our story telling. It is now woven into most of our video jobs and stand alone animation projects make up a good percentage of our most fun and creative projects .
MOTION GRAPHICS
Moving graphics around in a video is a part of animation that takes not just skill but artistry. We take pride in knowing the right style that fits every project so when we animate motion graphics it becomes a powerful tool in both our TV commercials and our longer format videos.
VISUAL EFFECTS (VFX)
The editor is tasked with choosing the right takes and timing that will make the audience compelled to watch. We will often do only editing for a project but rarely agree to do only shooting or production. Mostly because the edit is so important to every project and we want to have the control to make something really great.
AUDIO PRODUCTIOn & SOUND DESIGN
Galileo is very proud to have a world class recording studio with the best microphones, voice over booth, live sound room and sound design mixing room, all in-house. The ability to do all the sound in house and do it at the highest level can bring every project up a notch.
